I have my manufacture home insured with MHIA for a while now and very happy . A lot of other companies do not recognise manufacture homes where MHIA specialise in them. I am in a over fifties and thats how I found out about MHIA.

We want to let anyone who wishes to insure with MHIA just how helpful and easy to deal with they have been in our experience, when insuring a little cabin in a caravan park in Victoria for almost 3years. Our experience was that other Insurance Companies we approached did not want to help at all, but when we tried MHIA it was a different story! The people we spoke to were so considerate and communicative, they made the whole process so easy. They gave us very reasonable cover, excluding flood cover, which is fair enough as the cabin is in a flood prone area. We always found MHIA staff did the right thing with their payment schedule, which was very reasonable and always let us know of updates and changes very promptly. We cannot speak highly enough of the staff and strongly recommend them to anyone seeking insurance. They even understood when we failed to advise of an overpayment, which was entirely our own fault and agreed to refund this money with no charge. Very happy. The people who have purchased our cabin have also taken out MHIA Insurance and are happy too! All good! John & June Love from Paynesville Vic 3880

Some time ago, here is South Australia we had a "rain event". Nothing really helpful, the heavens just opened and it poured for about an hour. I have my gutters cleaned regularly but naturally I couldn't see the one that ran under my driveway. Well needless to say something, somewhere bunged up and before I knew it, at 2am water was running out of my air conditioning unit onto the floor in my dining room. My husband jumped out of bed at screamed announcement and ran outside and fortunately realized what was going on and undid some pipe thing or other and released the water. We cleaned up the spill on the floor and on the wall with bath towels and eventually went back to bed but I had taken photos. Next day I contacted MHIA with whom I had been insured for about 4 years at that stage and gave them the full information and photos. I advised the staff member that everything now seemed okay but I was worried that problems would develop. The young lady that I spoke to reassured me that if there were any further problems after the event I was to let them know. I sent photos and told them my concerns about my floors. The walls you can repaint, the floorboards, now that's a whole different matter. However I was very fortunate that nothing occurred with the floor covering and everything was fine. About 3 or 4 months after the event, I received a call from the staff at MHIA to enquire how everything had worked out and was there further cause for concern. I was extremely surprised by the level of concern and service and needless to say - delighted. There's no way I would swap insurance companies now. MHIA thanks very much. I frequently recommend you to my friends living in the same lifestyle village. Thanks again for you care and concern.

From the very moment I contacted MHIA about my incident at home when a water fitting burst to the completion of the repair works, I was totally supported by a wonderful team of claims officers. Listened, gave support when I needed it most and always got back to me on anything I needed to know. I cannot recommend MHIA enough. Very caring staff, communication 100%, nothing was ever to much trouble even through all the tears they had to put up with. Thanks MHIA Team I have my home, and my life back. Kaye

I was quite upset and frustrated when I had called MHIA Jesse was absolutely amazing and turned my day around. Jesse made the whole process of organising both home and contents insurance, completing this within 10 minutes of making the call - when beforehand I was on the phone for an hour with a previous insurance company who kept stuffing me around. Jesse was polite, respectful and professional Would recommend MHIA

Recently was advised my existing insurer would no longer cover our property, after having multiple quotes from all the 'recommended' insurers quotes ranged from $12,500 per year down to $3126 per year MHIA was recommended by other residents of our over 50's Lifestyle Resort I proceeded to get a quote which was easily done and is in fact cheaper than my existing Insurance. (and for a Scot that is great!). Thank you

Having changed over recently to MHIA Insurance Company, ( very helpful in setting up both house car insurance), I had need to make a claim for a new windscreen. As a newbie I wondered if it was going to go well. It could not have been better, with the process being simple and quick. Excellent service - highly recommended

We recently bought a property at Logan Village and thanks to our Real Estate Agent who sold us this house we found MHIA, we didn’t hesitate to take insurance out with them and the girl on the phone who looked after us was absolutely amazing, she was so caring, helpful, knowledgeable and reassured us that your company was definitely the right company for us.
